How to apply for OAU POST-UTME

Candidates who made Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their First Choice Institution in the 2017/2018 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible for screening. Applicants should note that the fee for the Aptitude Test is  ₦2,000, exclusive of bank charge (₦350).  In addition, candidates must possess at least relevant five (5) O'level credits, English Language inclusive, at not more than two (2) sittings. 

The candidates are required to login with their JAMB Registration Number  and Surname as username and password respectively to download RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference), print Remita e-Invoice to make payment at any commercial bank. Please, candidates choosing option of payment at bank should check back after 24 hours. You can, also, make payment online with your ATM Card.

 On successful payment, applicants for the Computer-Based Aptitude Test will be required to 

  1. Update JAMB data 
  2. Upload Results (i.e. WAEC, NECO, JUPEB, ND, NCE etc.)
  3. Upload scanned copy of credentials
  4. Upload passport photograph (if not available)
  5. Print completed Admission Screening form
Note:- Candidates with Awaiting Results should choose AR updateable before the registration closing date, i.e. Friday 22nd September, 2017.

Direct Entry students won’t participate in the Aptitude Test. They will, however, be subjected to a special administrative process. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates should, therefore, ensure that their transcript is forwarded by the Awarding Institution to the Admission Office, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for DE Admission processing.

UTME Candidates will also be required to participate in the Post-UTME Aptitude Test on their allotted date and time between 23rd and 30th September, 2017 on their printed Registration Slip.

Also note that, all Post-UTME candidates should bring along the following items to the screening venue:

  • JAMB UTME Notification of Results/Registration slips; and
  • Printed copy of the completed OAU Post-UTME Online Registration Slip. 

The Computer-Based Aptitude Test would be inclusive of Candidate’s UTME Subjects. UTME Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening will not be considered for admission.
